Education and Credentials

Tricia earned her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling from The George Washington University. She has maintained her credential as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) since 2009.

Career Background

Her career began in public vocational rehabilitation, where she provided vocational counseling and employment services to individuals with disabilities before advancing to a supervisory role overseeing vocational rehabilitation counselors and employment-related services. Her experience has included vocational assessment, transferable skills analysis, labor market research, job placement, workplace accommodations, and evaluation of independent living needs.

Since 2017, Tricia has also served as a Vocational Expert for the Social Security Administration, providing expert testimony and vocational opinions regarding employment histories, occupational requirements, transferable skills, and the availability of work in the national economy.

Experience with Veterans and TDIU Claims

Tricia has extensive experience working with veterans seeking Total Disability based on Individual Unemployability (TDIU) benefits. Prior to founding Summit Vocational Consulting, she served as Veteran Programs Manager for a national vocational consulting firm, where she supervised consultants completing TDIU vocational assessments, conducted peer reviews of vocational reports, managed incoming referrals, and personally completed vocational evaluations.
